At Tietoevry Create, our strength lies in the expertise, leadership, and passion of our people. Today, we introduce Andrii Karpov, Delivery Excellence Lead and Risk Manager from Ukraine.
Andrii's Tietoevry journey began in 2021 through collaboration with Infopulse. Starting as an Engagement Manager, he quickly advanced to lead Software Engineering Practice and now plays a key role within Tietoevry Create and ongoing company transformation.
Through challenges to excellence
Throughout his 12-year career, Andrii has managed over 50 high-visibility projects, from $50K pilots to $5M implementations. His background includes launching full-scale LMS products across web and mobile, giving him both technical and strategic insight into complex product development.
Within that range, one project stands out as a highlight of Andrii’s achievements and a learning opportunity to improve his leadership skills. A particularly challenging project, due to its complexity and the ‘startup mode’ restrictions, resulted in a successful product launch on a competitive market.
“I learned the importance of effective communication between different internal teams (development, QA, design, marketing, lawyers, and finance) and potential clients to help manage expectations and address issues promptly,” – he says.
This experience shaped Andrii’s leadership philosophy: stay agile, keep risks in check, and always prioritize the end user.
Driving change at Tietoevry Create
One of the defining moments in Andrii’s journey with Tietoevry Create has been his active role in the company’s recent reorganization – an initiative aimed at strengthening global collaboration. The goal was to create a more integrated and cohesive framework that would enable Tietoevry Create delivery units to work more effectively together, leveraging global talent and resources to provide superior solutions to our clients.
“As the Delivery Excellence Lead, I was orchestrating our delivery hub in Ukraine, ensuring smoother integration between international units. The challenge was in managing various tools, processes, and platforms across teams.”
As with any transformation project, change management was as crucial for the success of restructuring as technological integration. Andrii highlights that through proper analysis of the existing workflows, bottleneck identification, and empathetic leadership, the company can significantly increase productivity and team motivation.

Looking ahead, Andrii sees Global IT Operations evolving into an integrated, customer-focused ecosystem.
“Our team’s mission is to create a unified project management network, establish clear delivery standards, and define a shared risk management framework. By implementing tools for customer feedback analysis, we can build more efficient and streamlined operations, ensuring long-term success and growth.”
