Product Manager – Financial Crime Prevention, Tieto BankTech (m/f/d)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager for Accounts Fraud Monitoring (AFM) within the Fraud Prevention product domain in Financial Crime Prevention unit. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and drive the AFM strategy, development, and delivery of advanced fraud monitoring solutions that effectively monitor payment transactions, wallets and other risks to detect and prevent fraudulent activities, ultimately reducing losses for our banking clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions align with the evolving needs of our clients and the market, positioning us as a leader in fraud prevention within the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for Fraud Prevention, aligned with company goals and market trends. Making sure that every member of the extended Fraud team are up to speed.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Product Development: Collaborate with our product, engineering and design teams to bring products from concept to launch.

  • Product Management: Ensure Product Life Cycle Management, documentation etc.

  • Product Marketing: Ensure right positioning, segmentation, differentiation, enable sales and customer success with product material, insights, contribute to customer meetings (sales, customer driven innovation, buz dev. Meetings, RFP processes, escalations etc.)

  • Product Roadmap: Define and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback and market needs.

  • User-Centric Approach: Advocate for user needs and ensure that our products are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet high standards of trust and security.

  • Collaboration: work very closely with Product Owner for Fraud Platform and other members of the Fraud Prevention team. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, engineering and customer success teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing customer satisfaction.

  • Product Finance: Manage the product budget and track financial performance, reaching goals together with team, ensuring cost-effective development and maximum return on investment.

  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that all trust services products comply with relevant regulations and security standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in fintech, banking, or related industries.

  • Knowledge of Fraud Prevention solutions is an advantage.

  • Knowledge from the use of AI both related to TM and way of working is an advantage.

  • Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering successful products.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies, i.e. Scrum and SAFe frameworks.

  • Experience in strategic product pricing, financial performance, cost calculation and budgeting

  • Expertise in using Jira to define and manage the product roadmap, prioritize features, and track enhancements

  • Ability to simplify-and present complex information in a clear concise manner to a variety of audiences.

  • Experience from design-thinking and innovation processes is an advantage

  • Good pre-sale and communication skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Norwegian and English.
