Junior Billing and Collection Specialist - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

We are looking a Junior Billing and Collection Specialist who wants to be part of Tieto Tech Consulting. Tieto Tech Consulting works as a true partner, solving clients’ toughest technology challenges and delivering reliable outcomes that drive measurable results. By merging data, cloud, AI and design with deep industry expertise, we create impactful yet intuitive digital solutions that empower people and move businesses forward. The assignment is planned for a 6-month period.

When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a Junior Billing and Collection Specialist, you will:

• Provide operational support in managing a portfolio of international suppliers and customers, including:

• Preparing and issuing outgoing invoices by customer and product
• Handling incoming disputes within defined acceptance thresholds
• Validating incoming supplier invoices by product
• Raising disputes on incorrect invoices within acceptance thresholds
• Tracking, following up, and ensuring timely resolution of all disputes
• Support data‑driven decision‑making by analyzing Excel datasets, including reconciling information across multiple sources and identifying deviations, inconsistencies, or anomalies to ensure accurate financial outcomes
• Support the preparation and delivery of operational open disputes reports
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, including enhancements to calculation rules
• Help maintain clean and accurate partner account balances
• Ensure timely release of payments using the appropriate systems and processes
• Process and allocate incoming payments promptly, particularly before month‑end closing
• Support reduction of bad debt through effective and proactive follow‑up

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Finance or Economics)
• At least 1 year of experience in Accounting / Billing
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Strong analytical skills and well-structured thinking
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
