We’re looking to hire an Atlassian Administrator to join the leading provider of digital health solutions within the health tech business with a primary focus on user access and permissions. This role is ideal for someone early in their Atlassian or IT admin career who enjoys structured work, attention to detail, and helping teams work securely and efficiently. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Administer and maintain Atlassian tools (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.) 
  • Configure projects, workflows, schemes, permissions, and custom fields 
  • Manage user access, groups, roles, and license usage 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions 
  • Create and maintain dashboards, filters, and reports to support teams and leadership 
  • Install, configure, and manage Marketplace apps and integrations 
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide user support 
  • Develop documentation, standards, and best practices for Atlassian usage 
  • Support system upgrades, migrations (Cloud/Data Center), and performance optimization 
  • Ensure security, compliance, and data integrity across tools 
  • Train users and provide ongoing enablement and guidance 

Required Experience & Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience administering Atlassian tools 
  • Strong expertise in Jira (Software and/or Service Management) and Confluence 
  • Solid understanding of workflows, permission models, and Jira schemes 
  • Experience supporting Agile and/or ITSM teams 
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical configurations 
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills 

Would be an advantage

  • Atlassian certifications (ACP-100, ACP-120, ACP-620, etc.) 
  • Experience with Atlassian Cloud and/or Data Center environments 
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, automation rules, and scripting (Groovy, ScriptRunner) 
  • Experience with SSO, user provisioning, and identity management tools 
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD integrations
