Melissa Clarke, HR Manager

I’m Melissa, the Nordic HR Manager at Tietoevry Industry, working from Norway.

Together with the Industry HR and Talent Acquisition team, we drive the people agenda at Tietoevry Industry, working closely with the business to align our people strategy and priorities to support the company's objectives. This includes ensuring that we attract the right talent into the company and continuously work to develop our employees and elevate our engagement levels.

I first joined Tietoevry during the summer of 2017 as an HR Generalist. It was my second job after a role as an HR Trainee at a different company. It was a great experience, as I got to work with the whole employee lifecycle on an operational, day-to-day basis, along with some exciting HR projects on the side. The broad HR foundation I gained in the company – and perhaps equally as important, the valuable experience of having worked in a large international organization – was very beneficial in my subsequent role as an HR Business Partner at a large American entertainment company.

In March 2024, four and a half years after I left the company, I decided to boomerang back. Luckily, much of what I had missed was still to be found: the warm and inclusive culture and colleagues, the high level of professionalism, the possibility to put good ideas into action, and last but not least, the flexibility to support a healthy work-life balance.
