We are now seeking an experienced Product Manager to play a strategic and influential role in shaping the future of Nova – our market‑leading Debt Collection system. This role offers the opportunity to drive product vision, market positioning, development, and delivery across the Nordics and Europe. Working closely with other Product Managers and cross‑functional teams, you will ensure Nova remains the most efficient, automated, and competitive solution in the Debt Collection industry.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business goals and market trends, ensuring it is clearly communicated internally and externally.
Market Analysis:
Conduct deep market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and trends across capability, pricing, and technology.
Product Development:
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate concepts into delivery. Ensure that the product vision and strategy are executed efficiently and effectively.
Product Management:
Ensure full Product Life Cycle Management, including documentation and governance.
Product Marketing:
Drive product positioning, segmentation, and differentiation. Enable sales and customer success with materials, insights, and market messaging. Contribute to customer meetings across sales, innovation, business development, RFP processes, and escalations.
Product Roadmap:
Define and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing enhancements based on customer needs, feedback, and market dynamics.
User‑Centric Approach:
Advocate for intuitive, secure, and user-friendly product experiences that meet high standards of trust and operational excellence.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other Product Managers, Product Owners, and the entire Debt Collection unit.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with marketing, sales, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure successful launches and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Compliance & Security:
Ensure all Nova-related products comply with relevant regulatory and security standards.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience as a Product Manager within fintech, banking, or related industries
- Extensive knowledge of the Debt Collection industry in the Nordics and/or Europe
- Experience from product modernization journeys
- Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering successful products
- Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
- Experience with strategic pricing, financial performance, cost calculations, and budgeting
- Ability to simplify complex information and communicate clearly to varied audiences
- Good pre‑sales capabilities and excellent communication skills in English
- Knowledge of AI in product development or ways of working is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus
- Experience working in product organizations with strong tech–business collaboration
- Familiarity with Nordic languages
- Experience contributing to enterprise-level financial products
