Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong proficiency in Java and a solid background in the banking domain, especially in payment systems and Swift messaging. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial applications through robust automated testing strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Java.
  • Validate payment flows, Swift message formats (MT/MX), and banking APIs.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with development teams to resolve them.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards.
  • Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA best practices and process improvements.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in test automation using Java (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Rest Assured).
  • Strong understanding of banking/payment systems, including Swift MT/MX, SEPA, ISO 20022, etc.
  • Experience with API testing, including REST and SOAP services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (Git).
  • Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Solid grasp of software testing principles and agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of security testing in financial applications.
  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications.

 

Preffered locations: Warszawa, Gdańsk/Gdynia, Łódź, 3 days from the office
