About the role

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our agile product development team and play a key role in building a modern digital solution ecosystem for the healthcare and welfare sector. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, ensuring high-quality test coverage, and collaborating with development teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline. Your expertise will help improve efficiency, reliability, and compliance throughout the software development lifecycle.

In this role you will be responsible for

  • Design, build, and maintain automated tests, frameworks, and tools to support scalable, reliable testing.
  • Increase automation coverage by implementing automated test cases and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to embed automation and quality practices into daily workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and improve existing automation scripts and frameworks to enhance efficiency and maintainability.
  • Promote best practices in test automation and contribute to overall quality improvements across the organization.

To succeed in this role, you would ideally have

  • Strong experience in test automation and software quality assurance - you understand different levels of testing process and what it takes to test something adequately.
  • Previous experience of testing in product development organization, and you have high appreciation for customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Hands-on experience with Robot Framework in addition to some other test automation tools and frameworks such as .NET Test SDK, Selenium, SpecFlow, Jasmine, RestSharp, and JMeter.
  • Hands-on experience in scripting languages like JavaScript and understanding of Git and Azure DevOps or other CI.
  • Interest and motivation to work in agile software development.
  • Good communication skills and fluent language skills in Finnish and English.

It would be beneficial if you also have

  • If you are already a seasoned professional looking for new challenges.
  • Experience in testing large-scale, business-critical systems, especially in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with healthcare and welfare sector regulations and how they impact software testing and compliance.
  • Strong willingness to deepen technical expertise in test automation, continuously improve as a QA professional, and collaborate effectively as a team player
