Project Manager - Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join Tieto Banktech’s Strategy & Transformation organization. In this role, you will drive important strategic initiatives — projects that shape the future of our banking platforms, customer solutions, and internal ways of working. You will operate at the intersection of business, technology, and transformation, ensuring successful delivery of complex projects across the organization.

When joining Strategy & Transformation as a Project Manager, you will: 

• Lead and manage both smaller initiatives and complex, large-scale projects or programs 

• Oversee project deliveries that involve multiple Tietoevry service practices, requiring strong cross-organizational collaboration. 

• Work with offshore and nearshore delivery centers, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and execution across geographies. 

• Work independently within a defined accountability framework — most initiatives will be self initiated and require proactive leadership. 

• Drive change management activities, ensuring successful adoption and measurable business impact (mandatory competence). 

• Build strong relationships, guiding and advising both internal and external stakeholders. 

• Mentor and support project team members, fostering a productive and collaborative working environment. 

What we are looking for: 

• Experienced Project Manager/Business Developer. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — including executives and steering groups. 

• Strong business understanding, with the ability to translate strategic goals into executable plans. 

• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and lead several initiatives in parallel. 

• Experience within the banking sector or fintech is a strong advantage. 

• Fluency in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written. 

• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum are beneficial.
