About the role
In the WeAdd-team we develop a growing product family of innovative digital solutions that increase patient safety and streamline daily healthcare workflows. Our products are used across the healthcare sector and enable simpler, smarter, and more efficient care delivery.
We are now looking for Lead Software Engineer / Software Architect to our WeAdd team within Tieto Caretech to focus on the development of advanced, mission‑critical healthcare solutions that enhance patient safety, improve workflows, and free up valuable time for healthcare professionals.
You will collaborate closely with customers, fellow developers, business analysts, testers, and healthcare domain specialists.
In this role you will
- Contribute to and lead healthcare product development across the full lifecycle, including customer needs assessment, solution design, implementation, and deployment.
- Ensure high product quality through agile processes and automated testing.
- Architect and drive the implementation of robust integrations across internal platforms and external partner systems.
- Participate in customer dialogue and drive development initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with
- Expert-level proficiency in C++ and design of multithreaded server architectures on Windows platforms.
- Expert-level proficiency in designing, optimizing, and operating large-scale relational database systems, with deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Expert-level knowledge of network security, PKI, mTLS, and applied cryptography, with deep understanding of current security standards and best practices.
- Broad technical versatility across additional programming languages and frameworks, including Python, C#, .NET, and JavaScript.
It would be beneficial if you also
- Strong domain experience in order management solutions, including integrations with LIMS, RIS, and regional or national healthcare services.
- Experience working within the Swedish healthcare ecosystem, including collaboration with key actors such as Inera, and familiarity with HSA, SITHS, and national health informatics standards including RIVTA, openEHR, HL7, and KITH.
- Experience administering and operating both Windows and Linux platforms at an advanced level.
