About the Role

As Group Head of Rewards, you will be responsible for developing Tieto’s total rewards strategy. Seeing to that the overall rewards structure and respective elements are competitive, fair, well‑governed – and supports Tieto’s strategic direction and culture.

In this role you will lead the global rewards agenda and partner closely with business leaders, HR colleagues and so play a key role in how Tieto attracts, motivates, and retains people across countries and cultures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Tieto’s global rewards strategy, supporting the Group’s strategic direction, business priorities and competitiveness across markets globally.
  • Lead the development of reward policies and processes - and design rewards structures and programs including fixed and variable elements.
  • Manage processes and prepare matters for the Tieto Remuneration Committee (advisory committee to the Board), as well as Board of Directors.
  • Manage executive compensation covering the Group Executive team and senior leaders in the Group.
  • Act as a strategic partner providing data‑driven insights and recommendations. Based on business needs, global market trends, regulatory changes, and relevant benchmarks.
  • Develop and support leaders and other stakeholders in change management and communication related to reward matters.
  • Lead the Group Rewards team - securing continuous learning and growth opportunities for the team and strong collaboration with key stakeholders

 

Qualifications

  • Higher education in business, economics, HR, technology, or a related field.
  • Experience within Global Rewards and Executive Remuneration from listed companies in the Nordics.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to deliver clear and compelling decision‑making materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading teams and driving strategic rewards agendas across countries and businesses.
  • Strong business understanding, integrity and ability to balance strategic and operational priorities.
