Job Description

ERP, Treasury and Sourcing technology team in Tietoevry CIO organization is looking for a Finance process manager in the area of Record to Report and Acquire to Retire.

We would very much like to welcome you to our team of Finance service managers, Finance process managers and Developers who are responsible for the process, design, development, maintenance, support, documentation and guidelines related to our ERP (finance core tool). Process managers work closely also with our accounting and business finance teams.

Tietoevry has global finance processes which are aligned to corporate strategy and operating model. Process manager is responsible for process management, change, improvement and exception handling & implementation.

With us your main responsibilities would be to

  • ensure harmonized processes and practices in all countries
  • create and maintain process documentation
  • set priorities for developments and communicate changes
  • give trainings and guidance
  • analyze data and suggest and implement improvements, seek for the most effective and efficient solution
  • ensure stakeholders involvement
  • manage risks and deal with the most complex and demanding issues in the area of expertise
  • participate and support audit process
  • develop process control environment
  • manage or participate in all ongoing projects that might affect or change the process.

Record to Report & Acquire to Retire Process manager ensures:

  • Opening and closing of accounting periods in a controlled way and according to global timetable, process, rules and guidelines; General Ledger journals are prepared according to IFRS and posted to the correct accounting period; Balance sheet accounts are reconciled and specified on a timely manner;
  • Preparation and publication of annual reporting calendar, monthly forecast and actuals closing schedule, update and publication of year end closing guidelines and corporate materiality levels, update of My Finance Schedule tool (where follow up of month-end closing in different ERP modules is done);
  • Chart of Accounts and Financial reports in ERP are maintained according to IFRS and local GAAP requirements;
  • Maintenance and approval of updates related to Tax setups in ERP
  • Evaluation of impact of all changes and developments related to the process, ensure change E2E implementation and communication
  • Fixed Asset categories are maintained and updated according to the rule, local books are maintained and setups follow local law

Competence requirements for this role

  • University degree in Finance or Business administration
  • Solid knowledge and practical experience in financial accounting
  • Previous experience from and E-2-E understanding of process management work
  • Good documentation, communication, and training skills
  • Service-minded and proactive, problem-solving attitude; curious to learn new things
  • Analytical thinking and analyzing capabilities to work with business requirements and different other improvements   
  • Ability to work independently
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • High work ethics
  • Tietoevry uses Oracle ERP tool in the corporate finance processes, previous knowledge of this tool is an advantage
