About the role

Do you want to work with a market-leading and modern product portfolio designed for the next generation of health and welfare solutions? Do you have experience in program and project management and a strong understanding of healthcare and welfare services? Do you enjoy working closely with customers to ensure successful deliveries and implementations?

The Delivery Excellence Lead will be responsible for innovating, establishing and managing the PMO function, implementing project management best practices, and overseeing the execution of multiple healthcare software projects. This role requires strong leadership, strategic and tactical thinking, and a deep understanding of modern software development methodologies and healthcare industry standards. 

In this role you will

  • Develop and implement Project Management Office (PMO) frameworks, standards, and methodologies tailored to the healthcare industry/domain. 
  • Establish governance needed for project implementations and steering group meetings.
  • Ensure alignment of projects with organizational strategy and regulatory requirements. 
  • Monitor project performance, risks, and issues, and provide actionable insights. 
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and senior leadership. 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers and ensure project objectives e.g. cost, quality and schedule are met. 
  • Promote continuous improvement within the area. 
  • Ensuring the project and reporting tools are reflecting the delivery/project statuses.

We are looking for someone with

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business, or healthcare-related field
  • 10+ years of experience in project/program management within a software or healthcare IT environment. 
  • Proven experience in establishing and managing project setups and budgeting.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end programs, deliveries, and projects, preferably within IT solutions, health & care, or the public sector.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Structured and proactive mindset with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Knowledge of Finnish, Swedish, or Norwegian is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
