Delivery Engineer - Configuration Manager

We are growing and are looking for a Configuration Manager who wants to be part of Tietoevry Banking and the Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) business unit in Tietoevry.

 

FCP delivers a holistic set of services covering Identity, Fraud Prevention, and Anti Money Laundering (AML) to prevent criminal activity in the financial industry and enable customers to comply with regulations, standards, and internal risk assessments.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Manage the product life cycle in terms of product structure, documentation status, release status, and overall product status.
  • Participate in pre-studies and feasibility studies to identify requirements for new or modified product structures and the need for new Configuration Management (CM) tools.
  • Execute Configuration Management tasks in projects, including configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, and release handling.
  • Oversee and manage tools used for Configuration Management.
  • Serve as an expert in CM-related questions within development projects.
  • Establish unified methods for managing configuration objects in projects.
  • Coordinate with internal and external development teams to integrate completed system components, ensuring smooth delivery of product updates with testing, quality assurance, and customer support teams.
  • Participate in delivery meetings and coordinate efforts across departments to ensure seamless product implementation.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their requirements, provide updates, and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous improvement and automation of processes and routines within CM.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in Configuration Management (CMPIC or similar credentials) preferred – but not required.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines preferred.
  • Experience with KeyCloak is a bonus.
  • Experience within Bash scripting – BOT creation is bonus.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies is a bonus.
  • Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.
