System Analyst/Researcher 4G/5G - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

This position is in Poland for R&D area for telecommunication industry. Main area of System Analyst responsibilities is focused on research and analysis tasks.

Your team:

• is responsible for delivering new feature specifications and algorithms for 5G.

• uses machine learning and AI solutions.

• count around 35 people and is multinational. Some polish team-members are only English speaking.

• is divided into areas, so it means that team-members have their own specialization as a sub-team.

• works very closely with other teams located in Poland, Sweden and China.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Drive and contribute to systems studies in 5G in Radio Resource Management (eg Scheduling, Link Adaptation, Beam Forming, Carrier Aggregation, Fast Cell Coordination) and the Radio Physical Layer

• Work collaboratively on new features, simulations and improvements with cross-functional development teams.

• Contribute to advances in 5G Standards.

• Contribute to Innovation and IPR. File Invention disclosures and Patents.

• Support the deployment of new 5G products and features into customer networks. Understand customer configurations and issues.

We expect you have:

• Strong background in communications theory and digital signal processing

• Good knowledge of 5G specifications, especially in the areas of the L1, L2, Digital Signal Processing, Radio Resource Management

• Analytical mindset, high capacity, result oriented and ability to deliver under pressure.

• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written, because of English-speaking work environment.

It's very useful if you have:

• Professional experience in a similar position in telecommunication area.

• Hands-on experience with programming languages like: C, C++, and/or Java

• Experience in systems analysis
