Tietoevry Create is a leading digital accelerator for innovation and sustainable value creation. Our Finnish unit supports around 130 clients with diverse software development needs, covering industries such as banking, insurance, pensions, public sector, retail, logistics, and energy.
We are currently looking for a Solution Consultant to join our team specializing in enterprise content and workflow management. You will play a key role in designing, delivering, and managing IBM-based solutions for large customers, working closely with both clients and partners.
About the role
As a Solution Consultant, your primary responsibility is to provide advanced content and workflow management solutions based on IBM software and custom applications. You will collaborate with customers to define platform and service requirements, ensure efficient configuration, and support continuous improvement in delivery and performance.
In this role, you will carry out various system upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and error-handling tasks across different environments, while cross-collaborating with customers and other stakeholders involved in the projects.
You will work with solutions built on:
- IBM Content Manager Enterprise Edition
- IBM Content Manager OnDemand
- IBM FileNet Content Manager and IBM Case Foundation
- IBM Business Automation Workflow
- IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation
These solutions are typically deployed on IBM WebSphere Application Server and use IBM Db2 for database management. We anticipate increasing demand for hybrid delivery models spanning on-premises, private, and public cloud environments.
You will succeed if you have experience in the following:
- Collaborate with customers and partners to deliver high-quality IBM-based content and workflow management solutions
- Ensure platforms are optimally configured and scaled to meet SLA requirements
- Maintain up-to-date and secure software component versions
- Develop and maintain platform documentation and access controls
- Monitor application and database health and performance
- Participate in incident management and root cause analysis
- Support capacity planning, software updates, performance tuning, and reporting
- Continuously develop platform security and best practices
What we are looking for:
While we don’t expect you to know everything, we value a strong foundation in the following areas:
- Proven experience with relational database management systems, preferably IBM Db2
- Good working knowledge of Linux and AIX operating systems
- Strong personal initiative and willingness to learn
- Team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Norwegian or Finnish is a plus
You will further succeed in the role if you have:
- Familiarity with one or more of the IBM software products listed above
- Understanding of container platforms (e.g., OpenShift)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk)
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
- Exposure to agile methodologies
- Some understanding of financial or commercial aspects of service delivery
- Domain knowledge in industries such as insurance, banking, telecom, or energy
