Software Engineer Data Analytics - Tietoevry Education

The Role
As a Software Engineer specializing in Data Analytics at Tietoevry Education, you will:
- Work in a skilled cross-functional team to develop and modernize our data analytics platform
- Take end-to-end responsibility for building software products that improve schools across the Nordics
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and analytics needs
- Shape your team's ways of working, both internally and with surrounding teams
- Continue learning from and coaching your colleagues in our agile development environment
What We're Looking For
Essential qualifications:
- University degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or similar field
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server
- Solid experience with database management, data modeling, and data structures
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio
- Experience with agile methodologies, Azure DevOps (or similar), and CI/CD pipelines
- Fluency in Swedish and English (verbal and written)
We'd love if you also have experience with:
- Modern data analytics platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Power BI)
- OLAP cubes and multidimensional data modeling
- Azure platform and its data services
- Data visualization and BI tools
- ETL processes and data pipeline development
- Specialized knowledge in containers, test automation, microservices, or software security
