About the Role
As a Software Architect in our Caretech consulting team in Finland, you will play a key role in designing and delivering high‑quality solutions for our customers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading architectural work while staying hands‑on in development. You will work closely with our customers, internal teams, and other vendors to translate requirements into sustainable, scalable solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead Product Design & Architecture
Collaborate with customers and partners to understand their needs, solve complex problems, and turn requirements into new products or enhancements to existing services.
- Hands‑on Software Development
Work closely with developers in an Agile team, contribute to coding tasks, set up environments, and ensure architectural decisions align with business and technical requirements.
- Identify & Mitigate Risks
Recognize architectural, security, deployment, or configuration gaps early. Propose improvements that strengthen system integrity, reliability, and scalability.
Support team members with technical guidance, help resolve complex challenges, and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
We are looking for someone with experience and competencies in
- Microsoft technologies (+3 years of work experience)
- AI & modern LLM usage (Azure OpenAI Service, agent prompting, Azure AI Foundry, LLM model understanding)
- C#/.NET (Visual Studio- or Visual Studio Code -environment)
- ASP.NET Core or ASP.NET
- Entity Framework Core or Entity Framework
- SQL
- Angular, React or React Native
- REST API
- Azure CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Agile development practices
Nice-to-Have
- Infra as Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with healthcare standards such as FHIR, openEHR, or SMART on FHIR
Education and Expected Work Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Several years of hands‑on experience in software development and solution design, ideally in roles combining architecture responsibilities with active coding.
- Proven experience leading technical work in customer projects or complex delivery environments (e.g., acting as the go‑to person for architecture or implementation decisions).
- Fluency in Finnish for daily collaboration with customers, and good communication skills in English for internal and cross‑team cooperation.
