Senior Software Developer - Tietoevry Education

The Role
As a Senior Software Developer at Tietoevry Education, you will:
- Lead technical initiatives and contribute to architecture, design, and strategic technical direction
- Take end-to-end ownership of developing software products that improve schools across the Nordics
- Mentor team members and share your expertise to elevate the entire team's capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape ways of working and drive continuous improvement
- Balance hands-on development with technical leadership and architectural decisions
What We're Looking For
Essential qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field, or comparable extensive experience as a software developer.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, Angular, Azure, and SQL Server
- Proven experience with Visual Studio, Git, and RESTful API design
- Experience with test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Track record of owning the full development lifecycle from concept to production
- Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and contribute to technical direction
- Fluency in Swedish and English (verbal and written)
We'd love if you also have:
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot or similar)
- Background in system integrations and API design patterns
- Deep interest in software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
- Experience leading technical initiatives or architectural transformations
