Senior Software Developer - Tietoevry Education

The Role

As a Senior Software Developer at Tietoevry Education, you will:

• Lead technical initiatives and contribute to architecture, design, and strategic technical direction
• Take end-to-end ownership of developing software products that improve schools across the Nordics
• Mentor team members and share your expertise to elevate the entire team's capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape ways of working and drive continuous improvement
• Balance hands-on development with technical leadership and architectural decisions
   

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• University degree in a relevant field, or comparable extensive experience as a software developer.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, Angular, Azure, and SQL Server
• Proven experience with Visual Studio, Git, and RESTful API design
• Experience with test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Track record of owning the full development lifecycle from concept to production
• Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and contribute to technical direction
• Fluency in Swedish and English (verbal and written)

We'd love if you also have:

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot or similar)
• Background in system integrations and API design patterns
• Deep interest in software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
• Experience leading technical initiatives or architectural transformations
