Senior Frontend Engineer - Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who wants to be part of Tieto Banktech. Tieto Banktech is the leading financial services software and solution partner in the Nordics. You will join Tieto Banktech Financial Crime Prevention (FCP), a department dedicated to combating financial crime through innovative AI-driven solutions. FCP delivers end-to-end fraud and AML services to over 130 European banks. As part of the FCP team, you will contribute to the development of our AI-driven product line.

When joining Tieto Banktech as a Senior Frontend Engineer

• You join a skilled team of AI engineers, data scientists, and backend developers, where you learn new things with your colleagues
• You will design and build scalable, high-performance frontend solutions for AI product line, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and data visualization tools
• You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate user requirements into intuitive, responsive UI/UX experiences
• You will implement and maintain reusable components, design systems, and theming frameworks
• You will optimize application performance, debug complex issues, and ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards
• You will contribute to testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E)
• You will stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and advocate for best practices in code quality and maintainability

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development
• React with modern hooks, routing, and component composition, White
• JavaScript and TypeScript with strict typing and CRA build tooling
• State management with Redux Toolkit and RTK Query
• Data visualization: d3 for stats/graphs
• Testing and quality: Jest, React Testing Library, ts-jest
• Performance / debug skills: profiling heavy components
• HTTP/API integration: axios/fetch, auth headers, token refresh, 
• UI theming/design systems: React-Bootstrap, Toastify, Tailwind
• Dev tooling: ts-node/bun, Vite
• You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
