The Role

As a Software Developer at Tietoevry Education, you will:

• Work in a skilled cross-functional team pursuing shared goals

• Take end-to-end responsibility for developing software products that improve schools across the Nordics
• Shape your team's ways of working, both internally and with surrounding teams
• Take ownership of our API landscape, drive technical decisions, and contribute to our overall architecture strategy
   

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• University degree in a relevant field with several years of software development experience
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and AI tools (CoPilot, ChatGPT)
• Proven experience with RESTful API design, development, and documentation
• Solid understanding of API security (OAuth, JWT, API keys)
• Proficiency in SQL Server and database design
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Fluency in Swedish and English (verbal and written)

We'd love if you also have experience with:

• Azure API Management (APIM) or similar platforms
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Message queuing systems (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)
• API versioning strategies, governance, and best practices
• Event-driven architectures
• Specialized knowledge in test automation, software security, or other relevant areas

Your working style: You're a collaborative team player who takes responsibility for organizing your work and solving challenges. You can communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, particularly when discussing external APIs with users.
