We are seeking a Network Specialist to join our Security & Operations team at our Solna office. You will play a vital role in our team of 13, collaborating closely with fellow network specialists and utilizing your enthusiasm for network technologies. Responsibilities:

• Network design and implementation projects, ensuring high-quality and efficient network solutions.

• Identify and execute network improvements, keeping our systems at the forefront of technology.

• Define system requirements and provide guidance and support, leveraging your networking expertise.

• Be the go-to person for supporting and guiding your colleagues and customers in network related questions.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in the network/communications landscape.

• Handle the network hardware replacements, software installations, upgrades, patches, network related incidents and more, with an eye for detail and security. This position also includes being on-call every fifth week.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in Cloud (AWS, Azure or similar), K8s, Containers, Linux, Windows, OP5, Splunk.

• Knowledge of PCI-DSS or experience in the banking, finance, or fintech sectors.

• Proven experience as a network engineer or specialist, ideally in a high-availability environment or operations centre.

• A team player attitude: helpful, unpretentious, social, communicative, and proactive.

• A true passion for networks, firewalls, switches, load balancers, and related technologies.

• A problem solver who isn’t afraid of a challenge.

• Security knowledge and Cloud experience.

• Fluency in English, both in speech and writing.
