Systems Engineer - Tietoevry Banking (m/f/d) 

We are looking for a Systems Engineer who wants to be part of Tietoevry Banking. Tietoevry Banking is the leading financial services software and solution partner in the Nordics. Job Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and administer the computer network, server, and workstation infrastructure.
• Provide technical support to company departments by resolving issues and problems related to IT infrastructure and computer systems.
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure—including computer networks, systems, servers, and workstations—and resolve potential problems and failures.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates of IT infrastructure and systems to ensure stable operation and compliance with security requirements.
• Participate and collaborate in projects by fulfilling assigned tasks and contributing knowledge and expertise.
• Automate daily tasks to improve overall efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies, processes, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an IT Technical Specialist, IT Administrator, Systems Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Experience working with computer network equipment—firewalls, switches—and maintaining and managing computer networks according to best practices.
• Previous experience and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft platform products, services, and operating systems.
• Experience and knowledge of Linux operating systems is desirable.
• Ability to work in a team and good communication skills.
• Ability to independently solve technical problems and tasks.
• Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages will be considered an advantage.
• Industry certification in systems security or engineering will be considered an advantage.
• Fluent in Latvian; knowledge of English for daily communication within the Tietoevry group is preferred.
