Head of Sales – Credit & Wealth 

We are looking for a commercially driven and growth-focused Head of Sales to join Tieto Banktech and lead the continued expansion of our Credit & Wealth business. 

Tieto Banktech is the leading financial services software and solution partner in the Nordics. We deliver modular, pre-integrated Banking-as-a-Service solutions and market-leading software across core banking, payments, credit, cards, financial fraud, and wealth management. Through deep industry expertise, scale, and specialization, we support banks and financial institutions in improving efficiency, increasing agility, and accelerating digital transformation. 

As part of our growth strategy, we are strengthening our commercial leadership to accelerate growth in the Nordic markets while expanding our presence into selected European countries. 

The Role 

As Head of Sales for Credit & Wealth, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth across existing Nordic markets while leading commercial expansion into targeted European markets. 

You will lead the sales organization for the Credit & Wealth area and work in close collaboration with other sales domains across Tieto Banktech to ensure a unified and customer-centric market approach. 

The role requires a leader with a proven ability to create growth together with their teams, translate strategy into execution, and ensure that our offerings remain competitive and relevant in a rapidly evolving financial services market. 

You will play a central role in connecting market needs with product and delivery organizations, acting as a strong commercial voice internally to ensure we deliver what is required to win in the market. 

Key Responsibilities 

Sales Leadership & Growth Execution 

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing sales organization within Credit & Wealth. 

  • Drive sustainable revenue growth across Nordic markets. 

  • Build and execute expansion plans for selected European countries. 

  • Establish a strong and predictable sales pipeline and ensure achievement of commercial targets. 

Market Development & Customer Engagement 

  • Strengthen relationships with strategic customers and key stakeholders. 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring solutions deliver measurable business value. 

  • Identify new market opportunities and expand existing customer engagements. 

Cross-Organizational Collaboration 

  • Collaborate closely with sales leaders across Tietoevry Banking to maximize cross-selling and coordinated market engagement. 

  • Ensure alignment between regional and domain-specific sales initiatives. 

Commercial Leadership Toward Product Organizations 

  • Work closely with product and business units owning the Credit & Wealth offerings. 

  • Provide clear market feedback and set expectations regarding market insight, differentiation, and value propositions. 

  • Actively challenge and support product organizations to ensure offerings are competitive, scalable, and sellable. 

Performance & Operational Excellence 

  • Monitor sales performance through clear KPIs and data-driven insights. 

  • Drive continuous improvement in sales execution, forecasting, and commercial discipline. 

  • Provide regular reporting and strategic input to senior leadership. 

External Representation 

  • Represent Tietoevry Banking in customer forums, industry events, and strategic engagements. 

We Expect You To Have 

  • A proven track record of delivering measurable growth together with your teams. 

  • Demonstrated success leading sales organizations in international and complex B2B environments. 

  • Experience expanding into new markets and scaling commercial operations. 

  • Strong background in solution and technology sales within financial services or related industries. 

  • Experience collaborating closely with product organizations and influencing product direction based on market needs. 

  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on commercial execution. 

  • Strong negotiation and contract management experience. 

  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills with the ability to build trust across technical and business stakeholders. 

  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
