Data Validation Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Validation Analyst to support our Business Intelligence & Analytics team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out routine, process-based tasks that support the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of critical business data.  Your strong communication skills and ability to present findings and recommendations will set you apart!  With Integrity’s rapid growth, the duties for this role are continuously expanding with an abundance of growth opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Performs data profiling, validation, and cleansing activities to detect and report data inconsistencies. Identify, assess, and document data quality issues and their impact on business operations.
  • Determines root causes of data discrepancies and recommend short and long-term solutions.
  • Coordinates with data engineering and analytics teams to verify dataset accuracy and completeness.
  • Assists with creating and maintaining data dashboards and basic reports to display data quality trends and metrics.
  • Follows defined data quality processes and contribute to the rollout of governance practices as directed.
  • Reviews and creates mapping documents to support ingestion of new data sources.
  • Stays current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and methodologies.

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis
  • Proficiency in SQL to perform data validation, queries and analysis. Alteryx experience is highly desired.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Self-starter with an innate curiosity and drive to understand data.
