Customer & Project Manager - Tietoevry Banking, Card Personalization

We are looking for an experienced Customer & Project Manager who wants to be part of Tietoevry Banking, Card Personalization, and be located at our card personalization site at Riga. Tietoevry Banking is the leading financial services software and solution partner in the Nordics. We offer modular, pre-integrated banking as a service solutions and market-leading software for core banking, payments, credit, cards, financial fraud, and wealth. Customer & Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating project delivery and customer-related activities within assigned areas. Ensures that quality expectations, stakeholder requirements, and organizational standards are consistently met. Strengthens alignment across functions by effectively communicating project objectives, customer priorities, and business goals throughout the organization.

Customer Manager main activities/tasks:

  • Engage with clients to understand requirements, expectations, and changes; act as single point of contact for customer communication
  • Monitor project execution, track progress versus plan, identify deviations, escalate issues and implement corrective actions
  • Lead and support project and customer team members; assign tasks, set clear objectives, and ensure accountability
  • Prepare and maintain project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, scope definition, and baseline targets
  • Ensure that quality standards and compliance requirements are met in deliverables, customer interactions, and internal processes
  • Manage Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance; track relevant metrics and ensure that delivery meets or exceeds customer and contractual expectations
  • Generate regular reports for stakeholders (internal and external) showing status, risks, financial performance, and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct project close-out activities: review deliverables, document lessons learned, hand over to support or operations as needed

Competencies and skills: 

  • Ability to build strong client relationships, understand customer needs, and ensure satisfaction
  • Proficiency in planning, scheduling, risk management, and project delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to address challenges and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Adept at prioritising tasks, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines in dynamic environments
  • Ensures adherence to organisational standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations
  • Flexible in managing change, shifting priorities, and working under tight deadlines
  • High level of spoken and written English, Latvian and Swedish.
