Overview

The Bid Manager leads the proposal development process for large and strategic opportunities in digital engineering consulting. This role ensures that all client bids are compelling, compliant, and aligned with both client expectations and company capabilities. Acting as a central coordinator, the Bid Manager brings together cross-functional teams to design winning strategies and deliver high-quality proposals under tight deadlines.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end bid process from RFP/RFI analysis to final submission, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead bid strategy sessions to define win themes, competitive differentiators, and solution narratives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architects, Delivery, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to gather and integrate all proposal components.
  • Develop persuasive and tailored proposal documents and presentations that reflect the client’s industry, challenges, and expectations.
  • Oversee risk and pricing considerations, ensuring commercial terms align with delivery feasibility.
  • Create and maintain reusable content, templates, and knowledge management systems to enhance bid efficiency.
  • Conduct post-bid reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support oral presentations, client clarification sessions, and other post-submission engagements as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in bid management or proposal writing within digital, IT, or engineering consulting environments.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into compelling business value.
  • Solid understanding of public and private sector procurement processes, particularly in international contexts.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and strong collaboration abilities.
