About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the development and execution of quality assurance and risk management processes across Health Suite’s Lifecare portfolio.

You work in close collaboration with the product management, development, and operations teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain quality policies and procedures aligned with ISO and medical device standards.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and non-conformities, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Monitor and improve QA processes, including automation, metrics tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Own and manage the Health Suite risk management process, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and compliance with ISO 14971 and related standards.
  • Train and support cross-functional teams on quality standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance, including GDPR, ISO, and medical device regulations.

 

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years in software QA, including 5+ years in managerial role.
  • Good understanding of the key quality standards and regulations: ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, IEC 62366, IEC 82304 and ISO 14971.
  • Proven experience in healthcare IT or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with Finnish public healthcare and social care solutions and processes. Knowledge of Finnish private healthcare is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

 

It would be beneficial if you also have:

  • ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certification
  • Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
